Acetal plastic Grid-Tracks traverse grass more gently than rubber tracks. They also turn more efficiently on high-grip surfaces like carpet! And if you’d like to combine different styles of tracks to dial-in exactly the traction you want for a variety of environments, you can mix-and-match 48mm Width Grid-Tracks with 48mm Width Badlands Tank-Tracks—they both share a 24mm pitch.

Grid-Tracks’ 8mm pattern holes allow for all kinds of attachment options. While those possibilities primarily include terrain-engaging protrusions, you can also use Grid-Tracks to build linear motion assemblies like conveyors!

Both these 48mm Width Grid-Tracks and their 112mm width siblings utilize a 24mm pitch that offers just-right dimensional synergy with the chassis-ready bones of goBILDA® U-Channel. However, these 48mm width Grid-Tracks roll reliably with less rotating mass—thereby allowing your motors to focus their torque on tackling the obstacle, rather than exerting energy to overcome the heft of your drive system. The narrower width also allows for small-scale adaptability and makes it easier to find the right ratio between chassis size and track size.
