Motor Mount for 5000 Series Motor

Take heed of the speed of the 5000 Series Motor!—but you don’t need to worry about that until after you’ve mounted your motor! This handy Motor Mount is specially designed to fasten to the face of a 5000 Series Motor and provide you with the convenient installation options you expect from the goBILDA® pattern.

Each included M3 screw has a nylon patch which ensures that when they’re fastened into the 25mm bolt-circle of your motor (with a #2 Phillips screwdriver), they're there to stay. The heads of the M3 screws remain sub-surface in their respective counterbores, leaving a flat, obstruction-free surface to fasten components to. Speaking of “obstruction-free:” the 13mm boss found on the face of the motor nests perfectly in the 13mm hole in the center of this mount to leave it out-of-the way for building.

This Motor Mount puts two hole patterns at your disposal:

• The 16mm square pattern features threaded holes where you can use M4 hardware to easily mount the motor. The 5mm of thickness provides ample thread-insertion for the rigors of competition.
• Meanwhile, the 32mm square pattern spans past the motor diameter to open up alternative opportunities! Its thru-holes are graced with counterbores on the back—perfect for M4 nuts to be held for easy one-tool installations. The 32mm square pattern also provides greater clearance around any rotating component driven by the motor shaft (such as a belt or power-transmission component).
