Non-Flanged Ball Bearings

Non-flanged ball bearings have an outer race with a consistent diameter.  This style of bearing typically requires a ‘stop’ on either side to keep from sliding axially.  This stop can be a collar, a nearby wall or a spacer slightly larger than the ID of the bearing.  For those with access to a machine shop, the bearing can be press-fit onto a shaft or into a hole.
