Pinion Gears

The pinion gears here are able to mount on a shaft without the need for a hub. While pinion gears are most commonly associated with being the first gear in a geartrain, they certainly don’t have to be.

8mm REX™ Bore

If your build is going to take a beating, consider 8mm REX™. These gears are constructed of hardened steel and mount with two set screws for excellent hold on 8mm REX™ shafting.

6mm D-Bore

If you’re using a motor with a 6mm D-shaft as an output, or you have built your project using 6mm D-shafts as the axles, these D-bore gears match the shaft profile in order to create a positive drive between the shaft and the gear.
