New Products Overview - November & December 2020

We worked hard to end 2020 on a high note. During the final months of the year we released some pretty cool products. Let's take a look.

1. 12mm Bore Hyper Hub (1310-0016-0012)
   Wanting to use a Hyper Hub with our 12mm OD linear ball bearings prompted this part's existence. However, it is also useful for 12mm OD shafting and 12mm OD tubing.
   
2. 5mm Hex Bore Hyper Hub (1310-0016-2005)
   For those of you out there wanting to use the awesomeness of goBILDA Hyper Hubs and/or motion components (like our mecanum wheels) with REV 5mm Hex shafting, this hub gives you a direct way to do just that.
   
3. 25 Tooth Servo to 8mm REX Coupler (4001-0025-4008)
   Barreling down the 8mm REX track, we decided that a servo coupler was in order. This is an especially good fit with our 2000-0025-0002 Torque Servo.
   
4. 96mm Diameter Gecko™ Wheel (3613-0014-0096)
   Adding to our popular Gecko™ Wheel offering, this 96mm option is just as awesome as the original 72mm one, only larger!
   
5. goTUBE Endcap (1519-0014-0400)
   This part is simple but very useful. It bolts onto the end of goTUBE to create a 36mm OD flange. This flange contacts the inner race of a 32mm ID bearing to assist in axially constraining goTUBE or goRAIL in your assembly.
   
6. Hitec Linear Servos
   These linear servos pack a punch for their compact size. Just send them a PWM signal like you would any servo and you have linear motion with a closed feedback loop at your disposal!

Updates

We place a lot of importance on not resting on our laurels. Our R&D team often finds ways to improve existing parts - almost always maintaining backwards compatibility. Here are some of the updates and running changes that we deployed during Nov and Dec:

• 1206-0032-0006 replaced 1206-0032-0005. It is thicker and uses more goBILDA standard hardware.
• 1310-0016-4008 8mm REX Bore Hyper Hub received the 2mm protrusion update.
• 1205-0001-0002 was updated to make one of the dimensions more on-pattern (will not hurt existing assemblies).
• 1613-0516-0008 the OD is now ever so slightly smaller to make assembly easier when it is surrounded by screws on the 16mm pattern.
• 1308-0016-1006 the OD of the barrel is now slightly smaller to allow for some edge use-cases that require maximum clearance.
• 1310-0016-4012 12mm REX Bore Hyper Hub received the 2mm protrusion update.
• 3203-2806-0001 now has an 8mm length set-screw
• 1312-0016-1006 6mm D-Bore Double Sonic Hub received the 2mm protrusion update
• 1221-0032-0001 received a bearing recess
• 3417-1006-0016 replaced the 3414-1006-0016 - it now has a built-in shim
• We added an XXL option to the shirts in our Merch category
