2303 Series Steel, MOD 0.8 Pinion Gear (1/8" Round Bore, 9 Tooth)

This 9-tooth, MOD 0.8 Pinion Gear fits any 1/8" round or D-shaft, making it an ideal match for the 5000 Series 12VDC Motor. Its low tooth count enables high gear reduction in a very compact space. Pair it with a 105-tooth or 108-tooth gear on custom sideplates to achieve an 11.7:1 or 12:1 reduction, respectively, in a package small enough for a competitive FTC drivetrain.

The center-to-center distance required by the 9-tooth pinion does not align with the goBILDA® pattern. Custom parallel sideplates allow you to set the exact spacing needed for your gear combination.

Made from stainless steel, the pinion is secured to the shaft with an M4 set-screw featuring a T8 Torx drive and a nylon patch to resist loosening during the rigors of competition. A T8 Torx key is included.
