The BeeLine Chassis Kit is a four-motor, 6WD chassis that’s ready for you to customize!
Many chassis aim for agility and sacrifice traction. Others have excellent traction, but lack quick maneuverability. The BeeLine Chassis stands out by providing the best of both worlds! Its two pairs of 96mm Rhino Wheels maximize contact with the ground, which means this chassis won’t get pushed around. The omni wheels at the trailing edge of the chassis—combined with the slightly raised axle locations at each end of the chassis—allow it to rotate at a higher speed than other six-wheel drivetrains.
This style of chassis is simple to operate. The BeeLine has four motors: two on the left and two on the right. Both pairings operate via steel gears that link two motors together. If you’re competing in FTC, you’ll be using a REV hub that’ll require you to plug each motor into a separate channel. However, if you’re free to choose (and have motor controllers at your disposal), a two-channel motor controller and a couple Y-harnesses can get you up-and-running!
There’s no need to fumble through your toolbox to find the right tools for assembly. All the necessary tools are included in the kit to get you up-and-running quickly. The easy-to-follow instructions ensure that anyone, even beginners, can assemble the BeeLine Chassis.
The top of the BeeLine Chassis is primed and ready to be built upon via a multitude of easily accessible holes onto which you can construct intakes, shooting mechanisms, lifts, and arms. The channel spanning from one side to the other can be shifted forward and aft in order to accommodate additional mechanisms.
